Crazy. FOIA release about the FBI investigating 1973 fire that destroyed millions of personnel records. This letter claims to have information into it being arson, tied somehow to Nixon and the American Bar Association, calls the ABA "our dictator" documentcloud.org/documents/5500… 
Fire chief on site said there were two young suspects from a "college program" that a guard claimed entered the building an hour before the fire started and were never to be seen again...
Random note: "If you doubt this is true about the fire, just try and get copies made from the original FBI report, examining origin, if you can"

Firefighters arrived just after midnight and not a single drop of water touched the fire until after 3:30am because of logistics? It burned for two days. Every file there was an original, no copies anywhere.
Ugh a bit of digging also has some pointing to a coverup of MKULTRA in the fire. BTW they never determined a cause.
It wasn't just personnel records, millions of files were on loan there at the time.
