Stranger in the House! Liberal MP Nicola Diorio, after months of being absent, finally showed up in the House today and is giving a really weird speech. Highlights include:

- He claims his membership in Liberal caucus restricts what he can say
- Something about how he had to give up vacation to time in the last few months (for real)
- Now he’s saying apparently that @nathancullen was wrong when he said that Di Iorio gave his intent to resign
- He’s also talking about how he teaches and practices law while being an MP, and that working other jobs while being an MP means he can do a better job for his constituents

One could argue that any of the things he’s talking about today could have been better addressed if he had showed up in Ottawa once in a while and did his job 🤷🏼♀️
Centre Block closes for 10-15 years this week. This is perhaps one of the most out of touch, entitled, laughable, speeches that Parliamentarians have ever had the misfortune of listening to in this place.
