@Ocasio2018 Also AOC, claims academic major in economics. Evinces not one indication that she understands fiscal policy, budgets, costs of programs, or the very most basic facts of how much money comes from whom and why congresspeople have arrived at their spending and taxing decisions.

@Ocasio2018 She’ll be surprised to learn that the groups that have benefited the most from the liberal capitalist order are the extremely poor, most of whom through their own industry and enterprise have worked within that system and have been oppressed right out of theif extreme poverty.
@Ocasio2018 This is something that has never happened, not one instance in world history, under a socialist regime. Nor will it ever. The flaws in the socialist program are massive, inextricable (for they are the essential characteristics), and devastating.
@Ocasio2018 An honest person, capable of grasping secondary-school-level concepts, cannot objectively study socialism and conclude with anything other that it cannot work. It is impossible, no matter what tweaks or modifications you attempt.
@Ocasio2018 Socialism is held up as uniquely moral and based on compassion. An honest look at it — 100% of its many historical iterations, be they democratic or not — prove beyond any credible doubt that it is not moral. It purports to seek a noble end through “scientific means.”

@Ocasio2018 People from communist countries flee their countries by the millions. So the US is horrible? Such oppression, poverty, hate, racism, xenophobia? A million immigrants arrive here every year. Millions more would come if they could. Why? Why would they come to such a country?

@Ocasio2018 You, Alexandria, have been blessed with a wonderful opportunity to have great influence. No doubt the thrill of celebrity, the rush of adulation and attention, is awesome. It is also a dangerous temptation to lose your moorings, indulge in pride. Don’t fall for that.
@Ocasio2018 Admit how much you have to learn. Be humble. Listen - even to people who see things differently. Study American government, history, economics. Beware maintaining such a high profile. People are using you for their ends. Draw on your own conscience and serve your constituents.
