If you think that's unfair, it's only because you haven't been deluged with so-called facts from outfits such as "Lawyers for Britain" or "Economists for Brexit". I am fed a steady diet of their whoppers, and clearly the above logic applies to those that keep sending them my way.
Facts are facts. There aren't two competing versions of reality. "Alternative facts" are just another way of saying "lies".
