Before we end this Peter "Chun Lie" Obi and his Chinanomics issue, let me say it here that he is a confused man. He is confused and he needs to realize this. His thoughts are scattered. It is very easy to impress Nigerians by throwing figures and words without substance.
There is no point going through the manufactured data he reeled out. He has deleted his tweets, he is just too embarrassed to apologize publicly for such mucopurulent oral discharge.
One thing that amazes me is his love for China and their economy..
China this, China that..

China has gone through decades of economic reforms, one thing is common to all the reforms - China operates a " socialist Market economy". The govt has a hand in almost everything even though they have tried to liberalize some sectors. It is socialism.
Obi on the other hand will claim that Govt does not have any business running businesses but he is quick to quote China as an example. So who runs the businesses in china?
He does not understand the economy of China and how it is driven. It is driven by the govt..
China in 2005 launched their 11th five economic program..
The aim was to build a "socialist Harmonious society" through a balanced wealth distribution. By 2009 they made a decision to pump more PUBLIC funds, emphasis on public not private funds into infrastructure, rail and road.
Obi on the other hand wants to privatise and sell off govt assets which isn't a bad idea. But do not point to China what you cannot act like the Chinese.
China grew it's economy on the back of tough socialist reforms, zero tolerance for anti corruption and infrastructure.
China at one time locked out investors except export oriented investors.
Most of the big corporations on in China are owned by the People's republic of China.
Is Obi ready to hang corrupt politicians? Certainly no. His boss would have been cremated or buried in China 15 yrs ago
Obi's examples are ridiculous. He is caught in a web. His boss who was the head of an economic team for 8 years, PDP the party in power for 16 years and himself. He said it is more expensive to haul goods out of Apapa port that it is to ship in from Europe..
We should ask his boss. He was in charge of the privatization policy for 8 years. He failed to expand the port and upgrade other ports - calabar, onne, warri and Akwa Ibom. He stylishly sold the port to himself..
They knew a day would come when apapa would become too congested.
They did not dredge the warri port, looted the funds meant for it. Sat down at onne and was feeding fat on the nation's resources.
Uncle Bode who was PDP BOT chairman and NPA chairman on the other hand was splitting contracts at Apapa wharf.
Just look at the embarrassing statement and the Atiku logo...
Everything on this picture can be used to nail him. Should we adopt the Chinese anti- corruption law? Should we adopt the socialist market economy so that Atiku can return our onne and Portharcout port to us.
Obi's image handlers must find a way to sort him out. If I stand against him in a debate and he mentions China or the issues at the port that will be the end of his political dream. I will eat him up like Nkwobi
Presidential candidate - No pedigree
VP - confused
