Last month, public learned that criminal charges against #Assange exist under seal. This attack on the publisher that we are now seeing didn’t begin with the Trump administration. This is an escalation of Obama’s war on whistleblowers.

What fuels this war is unredeemed savages inside Western civilization that seeks to dominate the world through violence. In modern times, those who seek to control hide their aggression behind the façade of democracy & enact their agendas in secret.
Electoral politics is used to sustain this pretense of democracy. Journalists are deployed to manipulate public perception. Their job is to create distortion, perpetuating the illusion of democracy to control masses.
Concrete method is ‘lesser of two evils politics’. #WikiLeaks publication during the 2016 presidential election revealed its machination. For instance, Hillary Clinton campaign had a “pied piper GOP candidate strategy”.
Anyone who challenges Western liberal democracy that functions as a system of control, was subjected to character assassination, which was turned into real assassination in some cases. Now, we are seeing character assassination being enacted on Assange.
What made #Assange & #WikiLeaks become a target for this political retaliation? WikiLeaks publication of govs' secret documents exposed what is underneath the mask of liberal democracy. What came to be revealed was horrifying truth!
By revealing unaccounted power inside Western civilization, #Assange was vilified by both Republicans and Democratic political leaders. Joe Biden called Assange a ‘high-tech terrorist’ & Diane Feinstein urged Assange to be prosecuted for espionage. This all happened in 2010!
Under corporate media’s smearing of #Assange, an award winning journalist, who was shortlisted for Times Magazine’s person of the year, has been made into a ‘hacker’, ‘terrorist’ and called a traitor by US officials.
This media’s attack on #Assange has gone to a new level after the 2016 US presidential election. WikiLeaks’ public service of informing American people about their political system was condemned by liberal media. They demonized WikiLeaks with McCarthy era hysteria.
Democrats blamed #WikiLeaks for the loss of Clinton Campaign, recycling their old bigotry used against third party presidential candidates like Ralph Nader. Narrative goes, ‘WikiLeaks is a spoiler! #Assange is a Trump supporter, fascist & Russia’s intelligence asset!’
A Democratic Establishment even filed the lawsuit against #WikiLeaks, claiming emails of political operatives are trade secret preventing anyone from publishing the material. #threattofreespeech
Under the banner of “fighting against Trump’s war on journalism”, liberals pretend that they're defending free speech while actively attacking arbitrarily detained journalist that the Trump administration is trying to prosecute for publishing the truth. #FakeProgressives
Meanwhile, deep state’s war on the First Amendment intensifies. Trump’s Secretary of State Mike Pompeo calls #WikiLeaks a ‘non-state hostile intelligence service’. Members of the US Congress have signed a letter to Pompeo, demanding him to pressure Ecuador to expel Assange.
Legacy of Obama’s war on whistleblowers is now being carried on. The Trump administration tries to weaponize the Espionage Act of 1917 that was used to punish whistleblowers now to prosecute #Assange, who is not American & who didn’t publish materials in the US.
All wars start with lies. This US illegal war on the First Amendment is trying to use Russia Gate to craft narratives for people to justify their governments’ aggressive prosecution of journalists who acted being true to the idea of free press. #WikiLeaks #Assange
