Ok, happy 2019. So, let's kick this year off with something that I can only describe as awesome ... "Jarvis" and conversational programming - just watch, think and be blown away - ... this is stunning, the first steps into the future. Well done @simalexan.

Me : Not my thing.

Me : What are you after?
X : Acquisitions.
Me : Hmmm, a bucketload of tech acquisitions around Kubernetes. Expect big juicy deals.
X : It's the future?
Me : No. Mostly cash rich past giants with no future being clueless.
X : No market for Kubernetes?
Me : Some very profitable niches. Savvy tech buyer will wait until hype dries up before swooping in for tasty acquisitions around 2021-2022. This year will mainly be the clueless with big chequebooks. Hoping some friends will make it big this year.
X : The market doesn't operate to make your friends rich.
Me : Are you sure? It has been doing a good job of it - Cloud, Big Data, Containers ... it's always the same.
X : So, where is the future?
Me : I thought you were interested in acquisitions? They are not the same.

I'm all for expressing desire and involvement in politics but I'm a tad unhappy that the #peoplesvote seems to attack Corbyn but rarely Tories, it seems to talk up an exodus from Labour and I'm not convinced it is representative of ordinary folk - beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/096411…

Ok, here is our review for Spider-Man Into The Spider-verse (2018)
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is a wet dream for Spider-Man fans. We were blown away by it's non-stop actions and orgasmic visuals 😭
With diverse, vibrant colors and smooth animation, the characters seems like dancing and the screen is their ballroom. Literally every characters were badass and there were no damsel in distress!

Ok friends. It’s been about a year and a half since the original baked penne thread I did. I have a few thousand new followers now, all afternoon to cook, and feel like sharing to get in the holiday spirit. Sit back for 4-5 hours of cooking thread.
First up: The Sauce. I like to make it in an enameled cast iron pot. Sauce cooks for hours and can burn to the bottom if you're not careful. Enameled cast iron pretty much avoids that.
We start with the meat. I tend to stick to sausage because it imparts a lot of flavor, but doesn't require anyone to actually eat meat unless they want to, since it's served on the side. I have both sweet and hot Italian pork sausage here Italian sausages

(1) Here we go again. Despite being a new bridge, this Miami walkway collapsed, tragically causing multiple fatalities.

I speak from industry experience when I say: Someone failed to do their job properly.

(2) I will provide links and updates in this thread over the coming days. The regulation and enforcement of safety standards relies, ultimately, on political will.
