This is the wrong way to look at it. Schumer/Pelosi don’t want to fund the wall but even if they did, they would be hard pressed to corral the necessary Democratic votes.

2. Anything that comes out of the Senate has to be bipartisan. The Senate unanimously passed a funding bill without wall funding a few days ago. McConnell could do it again.
