#ManofSteel - It is valuable to have the freedom to choose your own path in life, instead of being confined to what society expects from you.
Many ppl wanted to confine Superman to past versions of the character.
Many ppl jumped on the bandwagon of hate toward BvS w/out seeing it or judging for themselves. Many refuse to reconsider their views on it.
It's a flawed movie but should still be accepted and valued as part of the universe. We should look for the good. The characters also deserve a second chance (sequel).
The film is based on love and was made w/ love. It saved the cinematic universe. (I know "DCEU death" is overblown but in this case it's true. A failed WW after divisive BvS/SS and then the mess of JL would've killed it.)
Just as Martha and Lois struggle to deal w/ the loss of Clark, and other characters deal w/ loss in their own lives, this film challenges us to figure out how to deal w/ the loss of our hoped-for version of JL. #ReleaseTheSnyderCut
The fan wars between DCEU, MCU, X-Men universe, etc., are all kind of silly. With multiple superhero universes all viable and successful, we should break down our artificial barriers.
The film could be viewed as a collaboration b/w Snyder, producers, Whedon, etc., yet the result wasn't better. This is b/c it wasn't really a collaboration. It was a change in creative direction.
