Minnesota’s 11th State Senate district has a primary on Jan 22 and a general special election on Feb 5, one month from now. If you care about health care, there’s just one choice: Stu Lourey.

Stu has been doing health policy in the Senate. He worked with my wife, so I got to know him personally as well as professionally. He’s got a kind of radiant affability, combined with a razor-sharp mind and unshakable principles.
He’s the kind of guy who would come over for dinner, read to your kids before bedtime (at their insistence), and then fix your ceiling fan—all while brainstorming brilliant strategies to expand access to rural health care & curb the opioid crisis. We wouldn’t want him to leave.
