A Portland landlord called the cops on a homeless man outside of one of her properties and the police showed up and killed him. Once again we see the harmful intersection of the cities failures on policing and homelessness. This is flat out wrong. oregonlive.com/news/2019/01/o…
For the millionth time: stop calling the police! They might make you feel safe but for all marginalized groups they serve as oppressors and murderers. Just stop.
But this isn’t just about calling the cops. This is about the damage that landlords, police, and millionaires are having on Portland all wrapped into one incident. We have to do better.
Disarm the police. Take the landlords land. Eat the rich.
