1/6 @MoHCCZim @ZHDAofficial Medical personnel derive satisfaction in seeing patients get better outcomes. They take pride in seeing a patient who came in at near death being discharged home feeling well again. It takes resources, staff morale and equiped hospitals to achieve it 
2/6 Example - A patient with chest pain, probable heart attack, will need an ambulance to hospital, medical exam, ECG, lab tests &, Xray to get a diagnosis. After this treatment, hospitalisation and possible theatre procedure. Saving this patient puts a smile on the whole team
3 It takes the right equipment, right clinical decisions, right diagnostic skills, committed and dedicated and professional team to achieve the desired outcome. Without ambulance, diagnostic equipment, drugs or functional theatres the patient will die @SibandaSibbs @nickmangwana
4 The chest pain patient may also have an infectious disease unknown to medical staff. To keep the team safe protective equipment must be available. Gloves, sterilising gels, gowns, masks, sterile equipment etc are a must. Non negotiable. Doctors dont go to work to come back sick
5 Staff morale is key. A doctor must earn enough afford a car, save for a house / pay mortgage and send kids to good school. Its in the interest of government to pay well and retain good doctors at public hospitals. If docs are paid poorly what about lower ranked professionals?
