Ive been digging deeper into my theory that the mystery Mueller subpeona'd foreign owned firm is the Royal Bank of Scotland.

First off for background the Royal Bank of Scotland is foreign owned, 70% by the UK government.
The UK really would like to divest from RBS which it bailed out and for all intents and purposes acquired in the financial crisis over a decade ago.

One of the hold-ups they faced was a plea settlement with the US DOJ that hung over their heads.

That massive settlement wasn't the only one RBS had made with the DOJ. There was one in 2015 that preceded it.

You'll notice who took a lead role in the announcement: none other than assistant director in charge, Andrew Mccabe.

It's really interesting that around the same time RR gave meullers an updated scope memo, just after the Manafort raid, that Mueller added Andres to his team. 🤔
Now let's ask first: why would Mueller serve a subpeona on RBS?

All of that makes sense. But why would RBS and the UK gov fight against a meuller subpeona? 🤔
Well, perhaps the subpeona was a little bit broader than just wanting RT's bank records. What if they wanted say, a certain oligarch's as well?
Do you think given the UK's strong desire to finally divest from RBS, the last thing they'd want being revealed are really sketchy deals with oligarch's, that the government turned a blind eye to, because they owned 70% of RBS, and they don't want the stock price to tank?
I think the UK has been lobbying hard for Trump to not make known their embarrassing role in spygate. I think it's logical also they don't want anymore embareassment 😬
