Strange report coming out of Russia: @rosbaltru, @ru_rbc, @interfax_news say alleged Ukrainian crime boss Yury Vasilenko, who Kyiv prosecutors believe was involved in murder of former Russian MP Denis Voronenkov, has himself been shot and abducted from a restaurant in Moscow.

Interfax says Moscow investigators have opened criminal case & searched the apartment where Vasilenko, was living. There they reportedly found a traumatic pistol, ammo, mobile phones "and other objects and docs relevant to the investigation." interfax.com.ua/news/general/5…
Vasilienko, from Kharkiv, Ukraine, may have dual Ukrainian-Russian citizenship, Interfax reports. He's been wanted by Ukrainian prosecutors for alleged role in brazen murder of Russian Denis Voronenkov in central Kyiv in March 2017.
Vasilenko is also suspected of being involved in the Moscow murder of Ukrainian separatist and Kharkiv Oplot group member Yevgeny Zhilin in September 2016.
Interestingly, another man suspected of being involved in the Voronenkov murder was himself murdered. Russian Eduard Akselrod was shot and killed in his car in Kharkiv in November 2017. unian.info/society/222663…
