Trump has given us the largest deficit in US history, adding trillions via tax cuts. And now he wants to add billions more for a wall when there are more efficient & less expensive security options. How are “fiscal conservatives” rationalizing this? I genuinely don’t understand.
Like, what is it about this guy that makes people totally abandon their principles? Evangelicals went from being the most concerned about a president’s personal morality to the least. Libertarians are supporting massive executive overreach....
The Law & Order folks are slamming the FBI and calling cooperating witnesses “rats.” Guys who remember the Cold War are shrugging off Russian interference in our elections. It’s surreal.
Note: Apparently I am in error in saying that this is the largest deficit in history. I apologize! There's enough bad information out there; I don't want to spread more. (At $779 billion, it's the highest in twelve years, and is expected to reach 1 trillion in 2019).
