To all furloughed federal employees, federal contractors active duty Coast Guard and USCG retirees, here’s a compiled list of places across the US that are stepping up to help. This list is growing by the minute. I will update as often as possible. Please RT the hell out of it.
To give credit where credit is due, this list was originated by a USCG spouse who I’ve known for about 25 yrs. She and countless other USCG spouses have banded together all over our country to research and compile this information. The USCG is family, they step up!
Keep in mind......for military retirees and their families, this effects their healthcare also. Monthly premiums are taken out for Tricare/USFHP.
Tricare/USFHP has agreed to delay withdrawals for 2 months but will take the withdrawals all at once when the shutdown is over.
