(Thread) Hi, Holly Jolly,

As things stand, the electoral college gives an advantage to sparsely populated states.

There are three ways to solve the problem.

The hardest is to amend the Constitution, a ridiculously complicated and lengthy process.
1/ There are two easier ways, but both require grassroots organizing.

The constitution provides that each state decides how to allocate its electoral votes.

So an option is this:
2/ A bunch of states whose electoral college total 271 get together . . .
and agree to allocate their electoral votes to whoever wins the national popular vote.

Here’s a website about it: nationalpopularvote.com/written-explan…
3/ The final option is to go to the rural areas and swing states and persuade people.

For example, when Texas turns blue, it’s all over for the GOP—and demographics are leaning that direction.

Did you know California used to be reliably GOP?
