Today I was blocked by @MaajidNawaz. I understand that I now have joined a rather large and illustrious group. Like all who have been blocked for challenging his language and behavior, I initially found this quite amusing. But then i figured out why...
Over the years, we have continually criticised and called out Nawaz for the hypocritical & hollow arguments he makes that attract followers/attention yet expose him as bereft of any real conviction. Below is the latest example:

Over the more recent times Nawaz has appeared to have gradually shifted his ideals and now, more and more, can be found appearing to legitimise far right talking points. Quilliam's report and Nawaz's PR re 'Grooming Gangs' is the best example of this:

We have pushed back hard against this report and lobbied fervently for a retraction from Quilliam which has not been forthcoming. This is in addition to our expanding on @Spinwatch and @NafeezAhmed's great work in exposing Quilliam's far right funders:

Throughout all our constant criticisms - whether it be articles or Twitter commentary re Quiliam and Nawaz - he has never blocked us. Yet today, we were blocked. Why?
Maajid today posted the below tweet in reply to one of our readers citing some of work on Douglas Murray to him. In it he implies that our 'sinister' blog has inferred that Murray made the comments involved & has thus been spreading fake news. He then blocked us.
In perhaps the most cowardly of acts, Nawaz has attempted to smear without allowing us a right of reply. Our article on Murray is below, for those wanting a context for the quotes used by @ImIncorrigible to Maajid. They say nothing that Maajid implies.

In the last two days Nawaz has tweeted to his 218k followers, calling us a disgrace, attempting to smear our work and implying we spread lies. This is his M.O against any who dare challenge him. His meltdown against @DrEllaC was a classic example of this:

As humbled as I am to finally be blocked by him, his cynical and deceptive behaviour in doing so comes as no surprise. Note that he has never tried to engage with us or even refute any of our claims. Keep an eye out for our updated piece on his dealings with Tommy Robinson x

Seeing as you have the ear of Maajid and he is that triggered that he is intent on digging up your past work and smearing you by (very loose) associations, I have some questions below that you might like to put to him just to help us all clarify:

1) In 2013, Quilliam received $75k from the ultra-Conservative & anti-LGBT Bradley Foundation, which was also identifiied by the Center for American Progress as central wealthy kingmakers in the “Islamophobia Industry”. Why was this?

This was the same year when Quilliam facilitated Tommy Robinson's departure from the EDL. Tommy Robinson later revealed that Quilliam had not de-radicalised him, but instead just paid him to do it.

2) Why? & 3)did you use the Bradley Fdn money for this?

The YouTube algorithm that I helped build in 2011 still recommends the flat earth theory by the *hundreds of millions*. This investigation by @RawStory shows some of the real-life consequences of this badly designed AI.
This spring at SxSW, @SusanWojcicki promised "Wikipedia snippets" on debated videos. But they didn't put them on flat earth videos, and instead @YouTube is promoting merchandising such as "NASA lies - Never Trust a Snake". 2/

Today a tweet appeared from Jeremy Corbyn.
It used language that should worry any democrat.
But it also used language that will send a chill through the heart of many British Jews.
The period between March and now has seen Labour's crisis over antisemitism reach fever pitch. It's been unrelenting.
In late July (just 6 weeks or so ago) the 3 main Jewish newspapers in the UK all published the same leading editorial on their front pages.
The phrase that was then picked up and run with by the rest of the media from this leading article was that a Corbyn led government would pose an "existential threat" to British Jews.

That phrase has come to signify and encapsulate the issue: Jews perceive Corbyn as a threat.

#Today's story to #EndFamilySeparation Four months ago, Dad and 4-month-old entered at the Texas/Mexico border and requested #asylum. Dad and child were immediately separated and the baby put in ORR custody. #FamiliesBelongTogether
Dad was detained in a #Texas detention center where @RAICESTEXAS consulted. Dad accepted a deportation to be quickly reunited w/ his infant child. However, the Dad was deported & NOT his child. The now 8-month-old baby has been in ORR custody for 4 months. #EndFamilySeparation
