I know Adamu Adamu to be an ascetic person who shuns wealth & still lives in a modest house in a modest part of FCT. That was why d initial story shocked me. Turns out it was a mistranslation from Hausa. He said Adamu accused him of taking bribes, NOT that Adamu asked for bribes.
Well, it's emerged that the translation wasn't inaccurate, after all. Thanks to @JaafarSJaafar, we now know that Bichi actually said what he was quoted to have said. I hope Adamu Adamu will tell us his own side of the story.
People change, but it would be tragic if it turns out that the previously frugal, self-denying Adamu Adamu has also joined the rat race.
