Pelosi slammed Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross’ comments where he said he didn’t understand why unpaid government workers are going to homeless shelters and food banks rather than taking out loans to pay their bills.

“Is this the ‘let them eat cake’ kind of attitude?” she said

I know some legit credit unions are doing this but DO NOT DO A PAYDAY LOAN.
Again, legit credit unions are offering interest free loans for existing customers.

I'm talking about shady payday loans that are next to the pawn shop and hit you for massive interest rates or have you put your car title down as collateral.

Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross -- a multimillionaire who has engaged in multiple, possibly criminal, ethics violations during his tenure -- "doesn't understand why" federal workers are going to homeless shelters and food banks during the shutdown.
It's also striking that Ross's first thought when asked about the hardship of federal workers during the shutdown is to point out their impact on GDP, not the shutdown's impact on their lives.
I call Wilbur Ross a "multimillionaire" because for years he apparently lied about being a billionaire forbes.com/sites/danalexa…
