I’m not exaggerating when I say the President actually thinks that banks are postponing mortgages and supermarkets aren’t charging for groceries because of the shutdown.

It is SCARY how fucking stupid this man is.
Sometimes I remember that our last President was a black man who was a constitutional law Professor and president of the Harvard Law Review then they gave his job to a slovenly white man who’s afraid of stairs and can’t spell “border.”
I have a real question for the historians:

Is there any historical precedent for the most powerful person on Earth being legitimately this stupid?
How, uh, apt.

800,000 Americans suffered for NOTHING but Donald Trump’s vanity.
Among the many arguments against this president is that a malignant narcissist should never have this much power. It will only be wielded to serve the narcissism.
The legislation that the Senate will vote on today is the EXACT SAME legislation is passed before the shutdown.

All of this was nothing but an elaborate public tantrum by the dumbest person to ever occupy the White House.

I honestly don’t see the big deal with the Gillette ad. I was expecting something controversial.

But this ad basically says, “Don’t be a jerk. Don’t raise a jerk. Call out other men being for jerks.”

My dad, who was a mechanic w an 8th grade education, told me that in 1987.
One note on the people reaponding negatively to the ad—everyone know it takes MORE guts to intervene in a shitty situation than to say nothing and let someone get bullied or harassed.

So if your idea of masculinity includes courage, you should be onboard.
I don’t know how to tell you this bro but WOMEN are not the ones to blame for single motherhood.

It’s mind blowing to watch as the press catches up to the Russia story like, “Can you BELIEVE all this happened?” when Hillary Clinton screamed it from the rooftops while the press ignored her and wrote about emails.
The fact that Clinton got the biggest political scandal in US history EXACTLY RIGHT while the press ignored her to focus on emails WHICH AROSE FROM THAT SAME SCANDAL has got to go down as one of the biggest fuck-ups in American journalism.
THE PRESS: How could we POSSIBLY have known that Trump was a Russian asset and we were empowering him by covering stolen emails?

As a furloughed scientist, I thought it worthwhile to use my PhD skills to look at evidence for the president’s claims of a national security crisis & whether his desire for a wall is an adequate justification for a government #shutdown that has cut off pay for 800,000 Americans.
What every American should be asking themselves right now is this: what is the evidence that our border is so unsafe that it constitutes a crisis and the need to #BuildTheWall? Evidence that would be needed to support such a claim are that...
(A) there has been a dramatic increase in people crossing our border over time, (B) there is an increase in crime with an increase in immigration, and immigrants commit more crimes than those within our borders, and/or (C) current strategies for border security are ineffective.

Today, @replouiegohmert led a "Build the Wall" press conference attended by a few other members of congress and a coalition of Trump supporters.
