It's sort of eerie how well Howard Schultz's backstory lines up with the plot of "The Founder," the movie about Ray Kroc
Schultz even encountered a similar resistance from the founders of Starbucks that Kroc did with the brothers behind McDonalds

Judge Jackson said she’s considering a gag order in the Roger Stone case because it’s “a criminal proceeding, not a public relations campaign.”
We probably won’t know for at least a week, maybe more, whether a gag order will actually be imposed.
A gag order would apply to both sides, but Judge Jackson clearly directed her comments toward Roger Stone, who has been railing against the proescution in interviews

SCOOP: I found tax records showing Howard Schultz gave less than 1% of his wealth to his family charity in 2016-2017.

Records show him giving about 2.5% of his total wealth since 1999.

In the 2016-2017 fiscal year, Schultz and his wife gave $18 million to the Schultz Family Foundation.

Virtually all of it was in stock. And most of it was in Starbucks stock.
Since teasing a possible presidential run, Schultz has gone after plans by both @aoc and @SenWarren to address income inequality, by taxing extreme wealth and by raising top marginal tax rates.

Both plans would likely affect Schultz personally.

I'm sure I mentioned this before but after reading an article about @SenSanders, it made me want to talk about this again, perhaps from a different focus. As much as we know policy means everything, it's often hard to connect with people using it.
People are often emotionally driven. That means to connect with them, you have to make them feel something. This is where the battleground is. There's 2 strong emotions that drive people: fear and hope.
Fear drives people to run or fight against something because of negative thoughts of change. That's why conservative messaging works so well: it's a well thought out emotional barrage of fear porn. Unfortunately, Democrats also use this against us as well.
