1/ So apparently @fordnation said today, on camera with CP24, that the Liberals' free tuition program meant tuition was free for students from families earning $175K per year. This is, to put it mildly, not true.
2/ It is true that students from families earning up to that amount received OSAP grants of up to $1800/year (and was always a dumb-as-all-get-out policy that deserved to die). But $1800 is a long way from equalling tuition.
3/ I hope @fordnation was simply mistaken in his description of what is admittedly a complicated program. I would not like to think he was actually deliberately lying about a government program he oversees.
4/ Problem is of course, Ford doesn't like to admit error. Getting record correct on this might be tricky.
