SCOOP: German $TSLA bulls have speculated that there are 11k+ M3 orders based on tax credit application confirmation #'s going up steeply since M3 inclusion in the credit eligibility list. BAFA announced their Jan report today: 748 AWD, 163 Perf (86 MS). No huge fleet sale

Fun fact: M3 applications add up to 911. Hope at the end of the Q it will add up to Taycan.
Note: it's true that real order numbers are somewhat higher than invoice #'s (in case of fleet sale, possibly more cars on a single invoice). However, I still expect that # to be negligible. MR could change that somewhat.
Also, sales could be lower than invoice #'s due to several reasons, including cancellations, errors in invoices, etc. Invoice #'s shouldn't even be consecutive in DE. Still, I'm not expecting any materially lower numbers either.
To clarify: German M3 orders stand at ~3,300 as of today. It means that not every customer has applied for the tax credit (yet).
Did a cross-check: LR AWD:Perf ratio is exactly the same in the BAFA stat as in the EU tracker. Perf is certainly not a fleet car, confirms my thesis that the LR AWD ain't one either.
