This is another major lie from Trump about human trafficking. No expert would say "almost all" human trafficking comes over the southern border. Experts emphasize that a large percentage of victims are U.S. citizens, trafficked within the United States.

Man. Trump said today at his human trafficking meeting, "Human trafficking by airplane is almost impossible." It's so common that airport and airline workers are being trained in how to spot it. There are posters in the Vegas airport. wsj.com/articles/a-new…

Trump made 12 false claims in last year’s State of the Union. That is not good, but it’s very low for him for that much talking (80 minutes). He lies much less when he’s on-script.
By contrast, Trump regularly makes 20 or more false claims in his rally speeches, during which he's mostly off-script. His record is 36 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania last year. Also: 32 in Texas and Missouri, 30 in Ohio, Montana and Iowa, 29 in Florida, Montana and Montana.
Trump's lies overwhelmingly come from him and not his staff: his written speeches are more or less factual, though they're filled with questionable subjective claims. One exception is the immigration sections, which often contain Miller-ish falseness.

CBS's Brennan asked Trump if he thinks Kaepernick and other players have a point about the police. Trump answered, "Well, you know, I'm the one that had passed judicial reform. And if you look at what I did, criminal judicial reform, and what I've done - President Obama tried."
Trump, who at campaign rallies said the NFL has "become soft" for cracking down on violence to players' heads, told CBS's Brennan that he wouldn't steer his son toward football because it's so "dangerous."
Trump reiterated his desire to withdraw from Afghanistan, saying it's time to end "endless wars." Brennan asked if it's harder for US intelligence without troops on the ground; he said, "We'll come back if we have to. We have very fast airplanes, we have very good cargo planes."

The issue of Canada's Super Bowl ads was one of the very weirdest parts of the NAFTA talks. As the LA Times reported, its resolution -- and, specifically, Goodell supposedly praising Trump over this -- seems to be responsible for Trump warming to the NFL: thestar.com/news/world/201…
It is not clear how much of a role, if any, Trump had in the negotiations on this issue, which he has sometimes suggested he personally resolved in "two seconds." A Canadian government source says they are not aware of Trump raising it with the Canadians.
Actually, the Trump change means Canadians *won’t* get American Super Bowl ads. The NFL wants to sell Canadian rights for a lot of money, so wants Canadians watching Canadian channels with Canadian ads rather than flipping to CBS for the fancy ads.

Today I tried to get answers from the Democrat Majority Leader on how they can claim this is a fabricated crisis when 17,000 criminals were caught trying to cross the border last year & 90% of the heroin in the US that's killing Americans at record rates comes across our border.
But Democrats don’t want to hear the facts. They don’t want to hear about the criminals, drugs, and trafficking pouring over our southern border into our communities. Why? Because the reality undermines their open borders agenda.
We could have the government open today if Democrats were willing to even try to propose a serious offer that addresses wall funding. But instead, Nancy Pelosi said she wouldn’t offer more than $1 for the wall. That’s how unserious Democrats are about reopening the government.
