Here’s a copy of the incident report via a FOIA request. It states Jussie—a staunch leftist and anti-Trump hysteric—didn’t want to report the “attack” but the mystery man he was with insisted he do so. How interesting.

Oh the death threats just started because Bolsonaro was elected? Where have I heard this load of leftwing bullshit before. Also, what a coward. I get death threats in Brooklyn all the time and I’m not going anywhere.
I also seem to remember an assassination attempt during the election....against Bolsonaro. But it’s the right who is so scary and violent
And tons of gays supported Bolsonaro. Get a grip, Queen.

The dozens of police officers at the event last night were not there to protect Antifa scum from scary republicans. They were there to protect the Republicans, who were peacefully assembling to hear a speaker, from the violent democrat mob 1/
We were locked inside the building for a half hour after the speech ended so the cops could devise a safe way for us to leave. During the speech, the violent democrat mob was banging on the door trying to break in. 2/
We we forced to exit and walk down 5th ave where there was a police motorcade alongside side us to protect us from the mob. That is where the attack happened. Video looks bad, but Antifa attacked the Republicans first. Here’s the police report 3/ nypost.com/2018/10/13/thr…

If the reports are accurate that his head was put into a noose and the attackers screamed THIS IS MAGA COUNTRY, while calling him an n***** f******, this horrific hate crime was both race- and sexual orientation-based. Heartwarming to live in a country of intersectional bigotry.
Having met him at NAACP events in the past, I can say that @JussieSmollett is an incredibly inspiring person, a gentleman and a hero and I hope he recovers fully and quickly and that the perpetrators are caught soon.
The #maga crowd is already calling the #JussieSmollett attack a false flag. No one knows the full context of what happened yet, but he’s in the hospital and was attacked with bleach and beaten. Maybe empathy for the victim rather than questioning his veracity is appropriate.

1. It’s been all over the news: the SEAL admiral the “oversaw” the 2011 Navy SEAL raid in Pakistan the killed Osama bin Laden comes out in support of John Brennan(!).
2. Brennan, of course, had his security clearances revoked by the Trump Administration on Wednesday. Despite the near-uniform caterwauling the bought-and-paid-for legacy media about how “wrong” @POTUS was to do this, there were indeed AMPLE reasons.
3. This opinion piece lays out some of the rationale; I suspect we’ll find out a lot more reasons before we’re through with Brennan as evidence of the seditious conspiracy continues to come out. Here are a couple of excerpts:

1) Alright, quick thread on my thoughts about why waiting 19 days to release the memo is not the best strategy. Before I get started, I just want to give credit to @B75434425 @DaveNYviii and @Imperator_Rex3 for all the work they have been doing on this.
2) So the process has begun, but the word is it could take 19 Congressional days to release. While this could be part of a coordinated strategy, I just can't see how that would be beneficial to the American people at this point.
