From Denton ISD: Braswell High School, Navo Middle, Bell Elementary and Paloma Creek Elementary were under lockdown this morning following a phone threat. The threat has been investigated by the Little Elm Police Department, proven to be false and the lockdown has been lifted.
Update: A phone call was made to Little Elm police that 2 people at Braswell HS might have a weapon at the school. All schools went into lockdown because of how close they are to each other. NO weapon was found. 2 people were detained and questioned.

It appears this shooting happened in the street between a row of houses and a small play park. @startelegram
A man here told me his wife witnessed the shooting. She said a man was walking down the street when someone approached from across the grass, shot him, then walked away.
This is where the witness says it happened — the shooter crossed over the river and shot the victim as he was in the street in front of that little park. @startelegram
