Whitaker: "Especially if he's not going to be charged."
Context: Jordan was asking about Rosenstein memo to Mueller. He wanted Whitaker to tell America if it lays out a crime to investigate, or just people to investigation. Whitaker cited DOJ policy re: commenting on ongoing probes, adding "especially if he's not going to be charged."
Meaning, it is DOJ policy not to comment on ongoing investigations and, what's always left out of public discourse, is why that policy matters re: individuals who are not ultimately charged with a crime. Whitaker said, "especially if he is not going to be charged."

. @AIPAC donations overwhelmingly favored the Democratic Party in 2016 ($22k/4.5k) & 2018 ($22k/13.8k). They donate very little by comparison.

In 2016, @PPFA (Planned Parenthood) donated $4M & spent $15M. In 2018, it was $7M & $8M, respectively.

And here are lobbying expenditures for AIPAC, which scares everyone to death, apparently.

Again, let's keep this in perspective. It's about $3.5M on K Street for 2018. But save from donating to Dems overwhelmingly, they have no outside spending.

1. Can't argue with ideologues, who call names when reason and logic challenge their worldview. This was supposed to be an answer to why on Earth we'd mandate the destruction of millions of Americans' lives for a phantom technology that doesn't even exist yet. It does not exist.
2. Proponents frame this as a choice between "dying in 12 years!" or destroying millions of Americans' lives for phantom technology that doesn't even exist yet. It's a false choice. If we want to see the day the technology does exist, then why would we move to an inferior model?
3. Market economies are more productive because they nurture innovation and creativity. Centralization does not and cannot plan for or react quick enough to inevitable crisis, such as the calamity The New Green Deal would cause. That's why they fail when those crises arise.

I think I caught a major legal error on p. 5 of the OLC memo on #Whitaker.
OLC argues that the Vacancies Act applies to DOJ statute 28 USC 508, because the DOJ statute cross-refers to the VRA.
That would be difficult b/c Congress passed 28 USC 508 before the VRA. See my thread:
This is the part of the memo with the error. This DOJ statute (28 USC 508) was passed and amended in the 1940s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s. No later changes. The 3345 reference pre-dated the VRA.
VRA passed in 1998.
It would be impossible for the DOJ statute to “cross-reference” the VRA.

All the saboteurs on the Right might need to get Trump to stop #Rosenstein & the #Mueller investigation is the disclosure that there was a discussion that showed agency concern about Trump AT ALL. 2/5
It was reported early last month that Trump and Rosenstein had a “great relationship.”

We see how he works if we look at how he ran his 2nd most important investigation as FBI Director. In Sept 2011, an entity began mailing anthrax through the USPS, hitting such prominent targets as NBC & Senator Daschle’s office. The terrorist attacks killed 5 & left others
