Lt. Gov. Fairfax responds to the latest accusations:

“I deny this latest unsubstantiated allegation. It is demonstrably false. I have never forced myself on anyone ever."
Fairfax says he has "passed two full field background checks by the FBI"

"It is obvious that a vicious and coordinated smear campaign is being orchestrated against me."
"I demand a full investigation into these unsubstantiated and false allegations," Fairfax says in stmnt.

"Such an investigation will confirm my account because I am telling the truth."

Among those who pushed to sell nuclear technology to the Saudis, per this House Oversight report, were Michael Flynn and inaug cmte chair Tom Barrack.

Flynn was an "advisor" to one of the firms hoping to sell nuclear tech to the Saudis, IP3, the report says.

Writing separately to concur with judgment rejecting the accuser's appeal, Thomas suggests the court was wrong to rule in 1964 that public figures must prove "actual malice" to win a libel suit.
The "actual malice" standard for public figures has been at the heart of 1st Amendment/libel jurisprudence for more than half-a-century, but Thomas says it's time to open that up ...
Thomas says state legislatures and courts are "perfectly capable of striking an acceptable balance between encouraging robust public discourse and providing a meaningful remedy for reputational harm."

Been following the shit show that is Virginia leadership and just realized that the woman accusing Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax is a former political science professor of mine—Dr. Vanessa Tyson. AND WOW.
Right now, the Lt. Gov. is denying Professor Tyson’s accusation and some sources are even reporting that the Lt. Gov. recently said, “Fuck that bitch” in a meeting in response to the allegations, though Fairfax denies saying these words.

She’s right, Justin Fairfax is an eloquent person and would make a good Governor.

The problem is how she described it. Him being an African American is extraneous information.
