I’m gonna predict that the NYT ends up regretting this correction. Everything we know about the August 2 Manafort/Gates/Kilimnik meeting where polling data was shared was about Deripaska
1. Meeting followed emails from Manafort to Kilimnik offering private briefings.
2. Kilimnik told Manafort he spoke with Deripaska for 5 hours prior to the meeting and wanted to discuss w Manafort.
3. Deripaska’s private jet took Kilimnik back to Moscow

So with this backdrop it doesn’t make sense that Manafort shared private, detailed polling data with Kilimnik to pass to Ukrainians, especially when Kilimnik’s flight out of NY was straight back to Moscow.
