Re: Zak Smith and how much the industry supports and protects abusers, back when I was at Paizo there was a minor kerfluffle about him threatening to sue Paizo or WOTC employees who shared stuff about his abuse, blocked him, etc.
So we were told not to block him, not to say anything about him, just ignore him. Of course, there was a lot of "this guy is AWFUL" talk internally.
And Mona kept talking to him, being friendly, of course. When we were like, "maybe don't carry his stuff in the online store?" it was the usual sideeye.
Which reminds me, I don't work there anymore, I have rights now, I can block him.
