The entire economy of #Venezuela is based on selling oil to the U.S., with some sales to China and Russia. Now the U.S. is withholding all the money that’s owed for that oil. Plus there’s an embargo. It’s an act of war.

If you lifted the embargo and you gave them their money, Venezuelans could eat instead of facing starvation. The money is being held by Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnuchin, who says he’ll only hand it over to Guaido — if the Venezuelans make him president.
