1) This John Dowd interview is filled with important details that fill in so many gaps (and destroys some stubborn theories). theconservativetreehouse.com/2019/02/12/dow…
2) An example of one key detail is the White House providing Mueller with written details about specific behavior by FBI officials at the center of the DOJ/FBI operations against candidate/Pres-elect/President Trump.
3) Robert Mueller officially responded to the WH legal team saying he "wasn't looking" at that stuff. It wasn't within his scope to look at internal FBI corrupt behavior within the origination of the operation against Trump.
4) After receiving the response from Mueller, the White House legal team then sent a polite letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein outlining the issues again and saying this corrupt FBI origination behavior needed to be addressed, or at least reviewed.
5) The response/reply from Rosenstein was..... SILENCE. No response.
6) After a period of time, 10 months into Mueller's probe, Mueller informs the White House on March 5th, 2018, the office of the president has "no exposure", and "no-one has lied". The President is "not a target" within the investigation, only a "subject witness".
7) But yet, even with all that, DAG Rosenstein still refused to address -in any material fashion- the origination corruption within the FBI that kicked-off the probe in the first place.
8) Yet, if you build out the timeline beyond the narrated communication between John Dowd, Robert Mueller and Rod Rosenstein, you get to Aug/Sept. 2018 where POTUS Trump is then going to declassify documents unilaterally that would accomplish the same sunlight Rosenstein refused.
9) The period where this happened:
10) So put it together and you find the issue.
11) If Mueller has officially (in writing) informed the White House that an internal review of FBI conduct is not within his scope... Then how could Trump declassifying material related to FISA abuse (and aggregate spygate) have a "negative impact" on Mueller's "Russia probe"?
12) ....Which was the explanation given by DAG Rod Rosenstein to the President to stop the declassification process. See the problem?
13) The explanation by Mueller is in contradiction to the claims by Rosenstein. Which likely explains why Trump's lawyer has a very low opinion of the Deputy Attorney General.
