4/ Nevertheless, Caffrey’s contract expires today. She asked her supervisor if the decision not to rehire her for a new project was linked to the climate report.

She said he told her, “I don’t want to answer that.”

5/ Park service officials did not respond to @ShogrenE’s questions about why Caffrey wasn’t rehired. But spokesman Jeremy Barnum said it was not because she spoke out against the editing of the climate report.
