Want to make money from your skills?

3 Ways:

1) Be good
2) Be famous
3) Be hardworking

Let's go deeper.

1) Be good

If you're good at what you do, people might hire you. Of course, this has to be done together with promoting yourself (word of mouth, social media, marketing etc). If you're good and no one knows you exist (or if no one thinks of you) - then you have no work.
2) Be famous

If you manage to build your fame or reputation, you might get work from that alone (sometimes). It's possible. Of course, if you're a good musician AND you're famous - that's even better.
3) Be hardworking

If you're not good at what you do or famous, you can still get work.

You can still be successful by working hard. In fact, sometimes this is more important than being good or famous.Also, in the end, you might become good + famous BECAUSE you're hardworking.
In a perfect world, having a combination of all three things can really help you get work + keep you employed and in demand.

One possible path:

Be hardworking -> you become good -> work on marketing, promotion, branding, reputation etc -> you become famous.

Becoming rich or wealthy is a "long thing" with its own set of rules that many people are not ready to play by.

This is about how to stop struggling financially.
If you struggle financially, it is because of any of the reasons below:

(1) You make a lot of money but you figure out a way to spend it all.

(2) You don't make any money at all

(3) You don't make enough money.
If reason No.1 is you, your problem is obvious. You simply need to learn how to keep more of what you are making and invest it to get the money to make you more.

The restrictions on opening hours comes form a time when there was a lot of residual time during the day. This was mirrored across the world (source: @pewresearch)
As well as antequated views, those days also had a cost of living which was lower relative to salary. This huge reduction in residual income over time has meant less parents stay at home & more childcare.
