The Democratic primary will be focused on cleaning up corruption in our politics and our economy. Candidates will be competing to show they: (a) have truly bold solutions; (b) independence from big $; and (c) are willing to fight to see their vision enacted into law.
In the Democratic primary it will quickly be insufficient to put forward far-reaching policies without an equally far-reaching plan to achieve them. But this article misses the role that anti-corruption/pro-democracy policies will play in the debate.

How to deal w/ courts and Congress will be critically important. But so too will be dealing with the influence of $ in politics, voter suppression, and partisan gerrymanders. Addressing structural corruption is critical to achieving long-lasting political change.
