I was volunteering at a stall this afternoon.
I like working on People's Vote stalls. You get to hear all sorts of stories & perspectives, from both sides of the divide.

With EU regulations on cosmetics safety being amongst the toughest in the world, I can imagine why.

His wife promised that she would make sure he did.

His wife is Spanish, & has lived in the UK for more years than she lived in Spain. She sees the UK as home.
They visit her parents every year, but Spain isn't home.

I asked him what his wife was doing about getting settled status, & he said "nothing".

I sympathised, obviously, but then I asked him what he did.

His customers are asking him what will happen, but of course he has no clue, because the govt can't give a straight answer.
Some of his customers are leaving the UK, & he's trying to work out how to keep them as customers.

However ... it's stories like this that keep me focussed on fighting this omnishambles.
We have to keep strong. We have to keep fighting.
This is not just. This is not right.
