Yet your store isn’t making any sales at all.
HERE’s WHY:
Almost every store owner who isn’t making sales is using a pop up that appears in the lower left screen with a message like
“Olisa in Kafanchan just bought beard oil”
This is annoying to would be customers and questions site privacy if they give you their info.
When a visitor goes to your URL they expect to see the goods that are on offer, instead they are greeted with a newsletter opt-in asking for their name, email and the rest.
This is extra work for visitors.
Using opt-ins too early turns visitors away.
Classic reason for no sales.
We often see a contact us page with no real contact information.
You should have a phone number that visitors can actually call and speak with a sales rep.
A lot of people don’t use currency converter on their store that displays currency abbreviations.
The “$” can be confusing as their lots of countries using dollars and customers are often confused at the exact amount in the local currency.
Nearly every store has an ABOUT US page that tells visitors a whole bunch of nothing about not really anything.
The page is filled with vague idealistic useless phrases and words like “passionate”, “dynamic” or “driven”.
No point.
A “no refunds/returns” policy shows a lack of confidence in not standing by the products quality or delivery.
In highly competitive market, no return/refunds means that visitors will go elsewhere.
They will look at your policy before giving you money
Stores that aren’t making sales discount almost all their products hoping to attract customers.
But the overuse of discount on all products gives the impression that everything is cheap (and possibly poor quality)
If your company and url don’t match the logo and design, it’s a big deal for visitors.
How can a visitor trust that goods will be delivered to them when the company is changing names every five minutes?
The site says “free shipping worldwide” across the top bar, but when items are added to cart, the cart says “price excludes delivery”.
See ehn, which one is it? Free worldwide or paid shipping?
Contradictory info stops would-be customers.
If your checkout is disabled or turnioniown how you wan make sales?
And some payment providers don’t work in some countries. So use a global payment platform.
Always run test payments to make sure your gateway is set up correctly.
