In the first book of the Bible that Christian fundamentalists claim is inerrant, there’s a story of God blaming women for all men’s problems, cursing them to suffer pain forever.

An origin story blaming women for all of men’s problems, esp their “sins,” is an origin story that is poisonous and murderous to the entire female sex. Couple that with teachings about the man being like a deity to his wife and children, with godlike authority to command them.
Christians have a hell of a lot to answer for, before they go branding an entire other religion as violent and dangerous.
And we women keep hearing Christians in the public sphere refer to us as such things as “host bodies” or “vessels” for men to impregnate.
It’s abundantly clear this religion doesn’t regard us as people.

A basic teaching of Christianity is that women are cursed.
And childbirth is our curse.
The forced birth movement grew from that teaching.
