adjourned. upshots: Senators from both parties not letting MBS off the hook, blowback from Khashoggi killing/Yemen war/arrest of women dissidents, dual nationals, etc continues.
Both pro-Saudi nominees said they do not think it is in US national interest to have a war with Iran
3rd upshot: the divide is less between Senate Rs and Ds on concern MBS out of control. The divide is between the Senate and admin.
perhaps I missed it, tuned in after opening statements, but did not hear a single Senator mention that the Saudis are supporting Jared Kushner's Middle East peace project.

Even though the Mueller team has 16 or 17 attorneys dedicated full-time, we should all recognize that there are actually many more #DOJ attorneys helping the investigation as part of their day-to-day jobs, particularly from DOJ’s DC Criminal Division. /1 washingtonpost.com/news/post-nati…
For example, in order to get wiretaps approved, the Criminal Division’s Office of Enforcement Operations would have to be involved. In order to manage the sharing of evidence and coordination on witnesses with international partners, Office of International Affairs attorneys /2

I cannot imagine the President answering these questions in person. Would be a disaster! wondering if @POTUS team will try to answer these in prepared written statement to dodge in-person meeting
All questions are expected, but questions like this, in particular, are troublesome for President - his answers must square with other interviews
