Here's Strzok on how the FBI viewed the difference between its investigation of Hillary Clinton's email server and Russian election interference. Basically, they were not remotely the same thing.
I sort of understand why members of Congress hector witnesses like this in front of the cameras. But it's remarkable that it's also how Gowdy was doing it in private -- it seems like a remarkably unproductive way to elicit information.
Rep. Gowdy's questioning of Strzok got downright Clintonian.
This is a good case study in how not to question a witness.
Guys, it's pretty rare to see somebody being more literal or humorless than the FBI.
