A few weeks back, a colleague wrote a guest post for a known troll and harasser. When I pointed out this individual's history, said colleague basically said, "Well, he's always been nice to me."
Today, said troll posted a "wink, wink" shout-out to the New Zealand mass murderer's livestream.
I'm not sure how to make this any more clear: if someone is a harasser and troll and bully and asshole to others, but is nice to you? THEY'RE STILL A HARASSER AND TROLL AND BULLY AND ASSHOLE.
So maybe - just maybe - you could stop defending and enabling them?

Today's #TenThings comes from your requests yesterday: HOW DO I EDIT MY FIRST DRAFT? Just remember that first drafts are word vomit made of garbage, which means second drafts are more like priming a piece of nasty old furniture. It takes me 4-6 drafts to make a book shine.
The usual disclaimer applies: YMMV, my way is not the only way, everyone's journey is different. This advice is meant for new writers hoping to be traditionally published. This is what worked for me; hopefully it will work for you. Whatever gets the work done is your process.
1. First, save your finished first draft with a name like BOOK-V1. I name each of my drafts so that there is always a saved file of the last iteration in case I need to go back and find something I deleted. You can also paste anything you cut into a new doc called BOOKBITS.

Today's #TenThings will be TEN THINGS ABOUT YOUR FIRST DRAFT. Because first drafts aren't always what they seem, but you can't know that until you've finished one. I would say it's like climbing your first mountain-- but I've never actually climbed a mountain.
The usual disclaimer: YMMV, my way is not the only way, every journey is different. This advice is aimed at new writers who haven't completed a first draft and who wish to be traditionally published. Whatever works for you is your process, but this is what worked for me.
1. A first draft is NOT a finished book. It may not look or read like a finished book. It may have gaps, inconsistencies, a rushed end, or an awkward beginning. THAT'S NORMAL. You don't have to show it to anyone. If writing advice says your 1st draft *should* be perfect, it lies.

Few weeks back, the media went to town with news that PDP had fixed prices for nomination forms and set an age-limit.

It was fake news, 100%

Did we fight? Moan? Or Cry? No.

APC fanboys should know it happens: DEAL WITH IT and move on instead of this stupid blame and outrage.
To be clear: my handle NEVER tweeted about whatever it is said that Miyetti Allah had said. I never referenced it, I never quoted it - our commitment to nationhood is permanent, in or out of power.

But the statement is 100% consistent with what Miyeti Allah says all the time.
Miyeti Allah has made more outrageous comments in various crisis situations before now and as TheNation newspaper which originally broke the quote is standing by its story, anyone can make his own summation of what is really going on.

Why aren’t APC e-boys attacking TheNation?
