No change in position on whether JWR and Philpott can stay in cabinet, Trudeau says both have indicated they share Liberal values and want to run in fall election.
Trudeau says the issue of privilege is not one to take lightly, says cabinet confidentiality, and solicitor-client privilege is a bedrock of the legal system, so the decision to waive confidentiality was not taken lightly.
Doesn't sound like Trudeau has plans to expand any confidentially rules here.
