BREAKING: Attorney General William Barr has received a report from special counsel Robert Mueller, NPR's @johnson_carrie reports.
@johnson_carrie Barr says he is “reviewing the report and anticipate that I may be in a position to advise you of the special counsel’s principle conclusions as soon as this weekend.”
The report is expected to be the most comprehensive summary so far of what Mueller’s office has uncovered since May 2017, when he was appointed following FBI Director James Comey's firing.
President Trump has said the notion that his team conspired with Russians is a "hoax” perpetuated by his opponents.
