Too many MPs don’t seem to realise that No Deal on Friday is already off (or rather postponed till April 12)

1/2 The Government has the power to introduce different parts of the EUWA at different moments. The central feature of it - repealing the European Communities Act (s1) (and thus EU law) on exit day - has not been done yet (s25.4).

So under EU law we don’t leave on Friday (Barrow letter, & unanimous EU Council decision published in official journal) & EU law still applies on Friday because of the above. SI doesn’t change these two facts - not passing it will create a mess tho.
