BREAKING: Two law enforcement officials briefed on the matter tell @ABC the FBI is *reviewing* circumstances surrounding dismissal of criminal charges against Jussie Smollett. ABC News is told this is not an investigation. It is a "review" or "inquiry".
MORE: As the @ABC7Chicago I-Team revealed this morning, records obtained from the Chicago police file on the Smollett case show the FBI was already involved in part of the investigation. 1/2
In that report it was revealed that CPD forwarded a copy of a search warrant pertaining to Jussie Smollett’s Apple iCloud account to an FBI analyst. 2/2

Some details on R Kelly charges (info from SA news release): @SAKimFoxx announced indictments charging Robert Kelly with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse involving four victims.
The first victim H.W. was involved in incidents which occurred between May 26, 1998 and May 25, 1999. Grand jury returned an indictment of four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse based on victim being under 17 and Kelly being more than 5 years older than the victim.
The second victim R.L. was involved in incident which occurred between September 26, '98 and September 25, '01. Grand jury returned indictment of 2 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse based on victim being under 17 and Kelly being more than 5 years older than the victim.

Prosecutors say Jussie Smollett detailed his plans for the staged attack with two brothers from Chicago. Prosecutors say he gave them $100 cash to buy supplies including gasoline to pour on him.
Prosecutors say Smollett provided a "back dated" check for $3500 to the brothers.
Prosecutors say at 12:49am (the morning of the reported attack) there's a phone call between the brothers and Smollett to set the time for the attack.

NEW: @ABC reports Jussie Smollett told police his attackers concealed their faces and he did not identify the attackers by race. 1/2
Additionally, in their initial report, Jussie Smollett did not tell police his attackers yelled “MAGA.” Chicago Police PIO added: “I’m not saying it’s not true. He could have remembered later, but he did not tell officers that in the initial report.” 2/2
MORE: Chicago PD says detectives did a follow-up, supplemental interview with Jussie Smollett, where he did in fact tell police his attackers yelled “MAGA country.”

Based on Rudy Giuliani's statement to the @nytimes regarding the FBI's counterintelligence investigation, it appears that Giuliani does not understand how counterintelligence investigations work.

They don't make a habit of publicizing these things.

#BREAKING: A confirmed active shooter at Santa Fe High School just South of Houston, Texas. Life flight has been called out. One witness said the shooting started in an art class around 7:45am.
Father of one child says he received text from son who said the shooter ran into classroom and started shooting and then ran out the front door. Said he saw a "number of students on stretchers" when he arrived at the school with one "taken out on Life Flight".
Two more Life Flight helicopters are touching down at the High School. One Life Flight has left. Three now on standby at the High School. School is still on lock down.
