@t3dy this seems off to me, but I respect your scholarship and (presumably) his (as I don’t know anything about him other than you tweet.
That said, isn’t one of the most important parts about scripture (specifically) and practice (in general) the process? And therefore efficiency is an invalid (if not thoroughly wrong) measure of it?
I both admire and distrust attempts to derive rationality from the fundamentally irrational but, if anything, I would see higher ergodicity of scripture as a positive:
In the sense that there are more/varied paths to the goal.
