1/ Somewhere along the line, the definition of poverty was stolen by the statisticians. We need to reclaim the definition of poverty for those who live it. Poverty isn’t what the statistics say—poverty is the lived experience of real people in America.

In sitting with my feelings about the Mueller report (or more accurately the Barr report) and vividly reliving my feelings on Election Day 2016, it makes me think that one facet of my own privilege I still need to work on is this abiding belief in the myth of Grown-Ups.
A grown-up is not an adult. Adults are real and it's just an age classification. A grown-up is the person who takes care of things and fixes things and protects you from the scary dangers of the world and is always wise and just and brave and right.
They only exist in the minds of kids, and then you get older and you're like "shit my babysitter was SEVENTEEN!!! My parents were in their TWENTIES!!! No one knew ANYTHING! They were ALL just making it up as they went along!!!" and the myth more or less gets replaced by reality.

@GIBiz Not sure what's going on here. Plus, you can still implement @Improbableio as external middleware without its built-in Unity integration (which only makes it easier) - just like UE4.
@Improbableio The issue is that this is similar to the AWS licensing agreement for Lumberyard. But in the case of Amazon, it's justified seeing as they have AWS as a competing service to Azure & GoogleCompute and you can't use FREE Lumberyard with a competing cloud service.
@Improbableio I take that back. The full legal reading of the updated Section 2.4 is worse than I previously thought.

Two weeks ago, i published a screencast that distills the single most essential technical issue (information loss) with the module system that shipped with Go 1.11.

I started working for Microsoft Consulting Services on Feb 14, 1994(Valentines Day) in Minneapolis. I went onsite with a customer that same day, getting introduced around. I also setup my first "laptop"-a Compaq Portable 386. "Weighs less than 20 pounds!"

This was also when the excitement for Windows 95 was just starting. Here's one of first free t-shirts I ever received. For a day or 2 I worked the booth at the Minnesota State Fair, demonstrating Win95 to fair goers.
