Beware gross figures. # for rest of 2019 would have been 7.1bn if departure on 29/3. After Brexit delay, frontloading of payments in Q1, it would now be >6.2bn. Net = gross minus rebate and receipts. As Coreper agreed last Fri, EU demand would include 2020 & full settlement in WA
Also, worth noting EU turning up the noise because countries split, including France and Germany, over a 2019 no deal emergency budget
After no deal Brexit, UK outstanding contributions would still be net (as if there was still the rebate. But complex EU system of 'rebates on debates' would be gone
