I’ve been educating people for free for over 10years online not because I’m nice or because I don’t know the “MasterClass Format.” It’s because I don’t like the idea of living in a country with ignorant Neanderthals...they have the highest probability of becoming President. ⛱
An intelligent Tweep was gracious enough to share with me a declassified (in part) CIA Document (2013) titled The Adam & Eve Story by Chan Thomas. The introductory part “The Passions & Perils of Nationhood” is quite interesting. Suffice to say this was a document written in 1966.
“For sheer & pervasive fervor, the love of Nationhood has no equal among contemporary political passions. Independence is the fetish, fad & totem of the times.
Everybody who can muster the quorum in a colony wants freedom Now- and such is the temper of the age that they can usually have it.
Roughly one third of the world, some 1billion people, have run up their own flags in the great dismantlement of empire since World War II, creating 60new nations over the face of the earth.
In the process they have also created m for themselves and for the world, a congress of unstable and uneasy entities that are usually kept alive only by economic aid & stand constantly on the verge of erupting into turmoil.
Nationhood is not an easy art to master as Ghana, Nigeria and Indonesia have painfully learned in recent weeks.”

This was just 6years after 🇳🇬 independence of 1960.

My issue from all I have seen in almost 20years in the sociopolitical space is that we have learnt nothing! 😞
